Lapp and a safer Dockcam

Blog post #70

I wanted a simple place to put the day’s tasks. Codex built Lapp and installed it on my desktop: movable sticky notes, checklists, search and local backups. It fits alongside Tidkoll and Dockcam, the other small tools I use.

The first Aelg website also took shape, with the products and a short introduction to my work. My Codex assistant got a name today: Nova.

Checking each other’s work

I asked Nova to review Dockcam and Claude’s account of an earlier accidental publication. The review found security issues that needed fixing, including how another receiver could take over a camera session.

We published fixes for room access, the camera bridge and payment handling. The automated checks passed, but updating the Windows camera component still needed administrator approval. Having a second agent inspect the code gave us concrete corrections; the first confident summary had missed things.
